Garrett Master Hunter Metal Detector
The Garrett Master Hunter is an earlier Garrett detector line, no longer in current production and not sold new today.
The name covers several older models, including the garrett master hunter 5 metal detector, garrett master hunter 7 metal detector, garrett master hunter cx plus metal detector, and the garrett grand master hunter cxiii metal detector. Owners still hunt with these decades-old units, and secondhand units and a garrett grand master hunter cxiii metal detector manual turn up more often than any current listing, which fits a long-retired model still used by its original owners.
What Owners Say
Garrett master hunter cx … a 10+ detector works almost as good as a brand new one. Depth and recovery speed has increased dramatically in ther/metaldetecting
I picked up a used in great shape Garrett Master Hunter 7 detector for $25. It works well but uses like 6 9V batteries.r/metaldetecting
Hi all. I have been looking for a Garrett Master Hunter 7x for sometime now. Well i got the one i wantedtreasurenet.com
Garrett metal detectors have given me the ability to to be very successful, and find plenty of gold, silver, coins and relics.findmall.com
The recurring theme in these owner accounts is that a well-kept Master Hunter still performs years after purchase, and that the model runs on 9V batteries rather than anything rechargeable - a detail worth knowing if you're picking up a used unit.
If You're Buying New, See the Current Lineup
The Master Hunter and Grand Master Hunter CXIII aren't sold new, so there's no current price or retailer listing to point to for this line. If you want a detector you can buy today with active manuals and support, Garrett's current lineup is the place to look instead of searching for a garrett ads master hunter metal detector for sale.
See our Garrett ACE Series guide for current entry and mid-range options, or Garrett AT Pro for an all-terrain, waterproof pick.
